Sales Support Representative

Help-Now, a growing technology consulting firm offers a wide variety of IT services, is currently looking to fill a sales-focused new business development position.

The Sales Support Representative position consists of 95% outbound phone calling and identifying new business-to-business opportunities for Help-Now’s Managed IT Services and Consulting.

The individual we seek will ultimately start by reporting directly to the Principal, setting up sales appointments, and building our prospect database. In addition to being well organized, efficient, and able to work with limited supervision, the candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

This position offers a career path into a sales role, based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Cold calling; ideally you will be generating 4-6 quality leads per week
• Generate telephone and in person appointments with IT Managers/Directors, VPs of IT and CIOs for Help-Now by making outbound phone calls and emails
• Maintain a high level of familiarity with Help-Now service offerings and a strong ability to communicate the value of those offerings to prospects during lead qualification activities.
• Web research to develop new leads, find new sources of contacts
• Identifying customers business / IT needs during sales calls
• Maintain accurate records and notes within online lead and contact database
• Follow-up with prospects and occasionally with existing clients
• IT technical training for this position will be provided
